Aluratek has been quick to pivot to new product lines to take advantage of the growing work from home market. In addition to the home health and office accessories category, Aluratek embarked on the mission to launch 7 new webcams, 4 of which would be brought into BestBuy stores. We had a very tight deadline to deliver so it was imperative that the specifications, content writing and product photography be organized and mapped out before production began. The following work showcases all the digital content that was produced for the launch of the webcams.
Webcam Highlight Images for Resellers
These highlight images were created for our reseller websites as well as the product page applications at aluratek.com. The purpose of these graphics to to simply call out the main points of interest for each webcam. I design these within an imaginary box keeping all type aligned evenly spaced and balanced.
Webcam Lifestyle Images for Resellers
These lifestyle images were created for our reseller websites. While each webcam functions in the same way there are some subtle differences. My goal was to create consistency in the composition while swapping in various screen images, backgrounds and table surfaces as well as writing headline copy to market each webcam to a specific audience.
Webcam Infographics for Resellers
These infographics were created for our reseller websites. The purpose of these graphics is to describe some of the features of the webcams in an easy to understand way without reading bullet points. The illustrated icons are done in the monoline style. These were the most time consuming graphics because of all the imagery that was required to tell the story.
Webcam Product Videos
These product videos were created for our reseller websites as well as the Aluratek website and social pages. Videos are ever incresingly important in helping the consumer make a buying decision. Product videos need to show the how and why in under 60 seconds. I art directed these videos with the help of our talented multimedia designer Migz Berenguel.
Webcam eMail Marketing
Here is an example of a couple email blasts that were created in partnership with BestBuy for the launch of the webcams. They were branded for BestBuy because the emails were directing Aluratek customers to purchase from the BestBuy site. To see Aluratek branded emails you can go here.
Webcam Amazon A+ Pages
Aluratek also sells product through Amazon Vendor Central. When creating Amazon A+ content and above the fold imagery, it is the trend to actually create infographics as opposed to just posting studio and lifestyle images. All the imagery created for this project are also fetaured heavily on their respective Amazon pages. Below is an example of how I used imagery and copy to create two A+ pages.
